At the studio we work on a range of bespoke handmade pieces, from small series work to larger bespoke commissions. Working closely with wonderful clients we strive to craft beautiful and engaging work which lasts for generations.
I started the studio full time in Cork in 2023, fulfilling a lifetime goal of making my passion my work. My dad was a forester and so from a very young age working with wood has been an integral part of my life. I source my timber responsibly and use as often as possible, native and locally sourced wood. I also make a point to use the offcuts from the studio to make unique small furniture pieces (entitled simply “offcut series”) whose form respond to the shape of the discarded timber from previous projects.
My work is shaped by the landscapes I explored growing up—especially the dramatic coastlines of Cork and Kerry, where shifting light and shadow across the mountains reveal ever-changing formations and ignite a sense of endless possibility.
